Project Overview:

FLOATRUN™ is a visionary sneaker concept designed and animated in Blender, combining modern material aesthetics with performance engineering. From knitted mesh and suede overlays to responsive cushioning, this sneaker visualizes next-gen comfort in motion. With dynamic motion renders and exploded views, the project emphasizes both aesthetic appeal and structural innovation.

The animation-driven storytelling elevates the design into an immersive product experience, showcasing FLOATRUN™ not just as footwear—but as a floating expression of movement and material harmony.

Objectives:

Design a futuristic running sneaker that balances softness, grip, breathability, and style.

Visually communicate material textures, performance features, and weightless wearability.

Use animation to break down the shoe’s construction and highlight each layer’s functional role.

Scope of Work:

  • 3D Modeling & Materials: Detailed sculpting and texturing of knit mesh, microsuede, TPU overlays, and custom foam midsoles.
  • Animation & Simulation: Full product fly-through with motion physics and layer-by-layer breakdown of the sole architecture.
  • Lighting & Rendering: Studio-quality soft lighting with stylized backdrops to enhance color accuracy and depth.
  • Cinematic Presentation: GIF sequences and motion loops capturing macro details, bounce, and cushion response.
